Rohde & Schwarz is proud to announce the launch of ARDRONIS Detect, a low cost counter drone solution designed to detect and identify various types of drones. ARDRONIS Detect is the basis component of the ARDRONIS system, which is a comprehensive counter uncrewed aerial systems (CUAS) solution that offers advanced detection, localization, and identification capabilities. The system is designed to detect drones using a range of signals, including FHSS and analogue and digital video signals. This new CUAS solution operates via the ARDRONIS Control Center software, which provides a user-friendly interface for scanning, displaying detected signals, and other options. It can be used in combination with existing command and control systems, including ARDRONIS Locate Compact, ARDRONIS Locate Advanced and ARDRONIS Effect.

The ARDRONIS Detect solution immediately notifies users of detected radio signals from commercial UAVs and remote control devices. Reliable and early warning of any threats in the coverage area is provided by comparing the measured UAV remote control signals with a detailed library of UAV profiles. The solution is capable of detecting spread spectrum signals with fast frequency agility (remote control, telemetry), as well as analog and digital video signals. ARDRONIS Detect is a software-based solution that requires an R&S®UMS400 or R&S®EM200 receiver with specific software options. The system also requires a computer with the ARDRONIS Control Center software installed. It is available now, and customers can upgrade their existing systems or purchase a new solution.
