ARX Robotics and Quantum Systems have announced the formation of an alliance for companies in the unmanned systems sector. Together with other industry partners, this new coalition, named “UXS Alliance,” aims to pool German and European expertise and make a significant contribution to the security of NATO and Europe. Given the tense global security situation, various conflicts demonstrate the transformative significance of unmanned systems in modern warfare. While Ukraine successfully integrates unmanned systems on land, in the air, and on water into its armed forces, this development is only just beginning in Germany, Europe, and NATO.
Florian Seibel, CEO and founder of Quantum Systems, said: “The future is unmanned. And with this alliance, we want to express our commitment to creating a strategic asset for Germany and Europe that strengthens our resilience and makes us a technological leader.”
Marc Wietfeld, CEO and founder of ARX Robotics, said: “Stronger Together. This is not only NATO’s motto, but it must also apply to the industry within the alliance. With the UXS Alliance, we want to send a signal that scalable and modular systems will be crucial for the success of all missions in the future.”
Quantum-Systems GmbH is a German technology company headquartered in Gilching, founded in 2015. The company specializes in the development, design and production of small unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV), commonly known as drones. As the global leader in eVTOL drones, the company bring innovation and speed to military users and field-proven, robust systems to the commercial world, empowering both to act on real-time mission-critical data in any environment or scenario. Quantum-Systems GmbH specialize in the development, design, and production of advanced multi-sensor unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that collect aerial intelligence for the professional user.
ARX Robotics, Europe’s leading startup in the field of unmanned autonomous land systems, has thus joined forces with the European drone champion Quantum Systems and other partners to form an alliance for companies in the unmanned systems sector in all dimensions. The goal of the “UXS Alliance” is to pool European expertise and position itself as a joint player for securing NATO’s eastern flank and for security in Europe. Operating from Berlin under the motto “UXS Alliance: Leaders of the Unmanned Future,” the alliance offers other companies the opportunity to join.
