“Lithuania supported in the past, supports and will support Moldova in the area of defence in the future. With the current security situation in mind, Lithuania is prepared not just to retain the support but to increase it. WE are committed with actions, not words, and the handover of thermal sights today is a proof of that,” said Minister of National Defence L. Kasčiūnas.

The tangible assistance, thermal sights, delivered during the visit of Minister L. Kasčiūnas contributes to strengthening Moldova’s resilience and closer bilateral defence cooperation. The importance of continuity of the reform started in Moldova was accentuated at the meeting.
