RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of military and civilian propulsion solutions and IDV, a company of Iveco Group N.V. specialized in defense and civil protection vehicles, have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at evaluating the potential of RENK and IDV drive technologies for future combat platforms. This cooperation agreement is an important step enabling both parties to actively contribute to accelerating the tracked vehicle programs for their customers. It also addresses the need to strengthen the European supply chain and increase production capacity.
The aim of the agreement is to share the know-how and experience of both parties in the development and manufacturing of powertrain solutions, technologies and equipment.

Iveco Defence Vehicles is dedicated to delivering innovative automotive and protection solutions to meet the needs of military customers worldwide. The company headquarter is in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the plant formerly owned by Lancia, a highly-regarded military vehicle manufacturer established in 1937 that became part of the Iveco Group in 1975.
