The Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) has announced that it has received its fifth and final Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Super Hercules military transport aircraft with tail number A-1342. The Indonesian Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on 16 May that after C-130J-30 (A-1342) aircraft departed the Lockheed Martin plant at Marietta, Georgia, it was flown towards Jakarta via San Diego, Honolulu, the Marshall Islands, and Guam. The fifth Super Hercules has arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta. Janes reported that Four C-130J-30s were to be delivered by October 2023, with the final aircraft to be delivered in January 2024.
The Indonesian Air Force has quietly signed a contract with Lockheed Martin for C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft. The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft.
