In February, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and Omnisys Ltd. signed an exclusive agreement to cooperate in the field of Battle Resource Optimization (BRO) for Air Defence and Air Surveillance. The cooperation enables the introduction of the combat-proven BRO systems in Germany and in the NATO environment. ESG is thus complementing its portfolio for networking and multi-domain operations with a powerful planning component. As a manufacturer-independent system integrator, ESG can ensure and support the seamless integration of BRO for its customers.
BRO for Air Defence and Air Surveillance supports military decision-makers in the optimal deployment of air defence assets in a constantly changing battlefield. The system enables adaptive planning and management of search patterns, performance estimates and operational recommendations in real-time, as well as improved mission debriefing. Physical models are used to simulate current and future threats and analyse the performance of sensors, effectors and command and control assets. Advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence provide decision support for the optimal deployment of assets and forces.
Omnisys is a leading global provider of mission optimization solutions for defence and homeland security. The Omnisys BRO suite provides resource optimization capabilities in combat and enables end-to-end planning, management and debriefing of land, sea and air operations. These analysis and optimization capabilities enable enhanced capabilities in operations and most efficient use of available resources (equipment, human resources and budgets).
