The Danish company Sky-Watch, a manufacturer of the combat-proven unmanned aerial system (UAS) RQ-35 Heidrun are excited to announce the partnership with Palantir Technologies Inc., unveiled at the Danish Defense Annual Conference in Copenhagen. This collaboration brings together the cutting-edge drone technology in our UAS Solution with Palantir’s advanced data analytics. The RQ-35 Heidrun capabilities will integrate with Palantir’s state-of-the art software platform, enhancing data analysis and intelligence gathering across land, sea and air. The aim is to provide a comprehensive real-time operational picture, enhanced situational awareness and data-driven insights – critical for modern warfare and operations.
The RQ-35 Heidrun is a combat proven, fixed wing, mini UAV for low-altitude surveillance intelligence and reconnaissance missions. It is designed to be implemented as an organic ISR platform providing high situational awareness to ground force commanders. Based on experiences from Ukraine, the company skilled engineers has configured the RQ-35 Heidrun to be highly EW resistant and capable of flying in GNSS denied airspace. With a range of up to 30 kilometers of live video feed, it is ideal for collecting real-time sensor data from any mission-critical area without exposing the drone operator to the dangers of direct fire. Collecting images of a mission area or POI allows your S2 Intelligence Section to generate high-resolution, textured 2D and 3D mesh models for powerful analysis.
The RQ-35 Heidrun UAV is higly mobile and can be rapidly deployed in the field or in an urban environment. It is operated by an easy-to-use touch based UI application. The RQ-35 Heidrun UAV platform is unique due to its multipurpose design. It is the ideal partner for both ISR and mapping missions. With the accessories shown below, the platform becomes even more versatile, as the UAV is capable of providing real-time video feed and full controls, streaming the video feed to the ground force commander and to remote decision-makers and generate new 2D/3D map material at a flight distance of up to 30 kilometer.
In the RQ-35 Heidrun Tactical Backpack you can pack the entire RQ-35 Heidrun UAS kit providing maximum mobility when you need to deploy the UAV with the combat ground forces as organic ISR. The RQ-35 Heidrun Tactical Backpack is a light-weight camouflage backpack based on the MOLLE system for high flexibility, and it allows you to distribute various equipment across multiple persons or to keep the entire system with a single person. The Tactical Backpack is designed for use by Special Operations Forces and is made in Denmark by our partner Tardigrade Tactical. For transportation in armoured vehicles and storage you also have the option to use the standard Peli flight case.
