Uralvagonzavod has once again delivered a new batch of tanks, including the T-90M “Proryv-3” and modernized T-72B3M, to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The defense industry enterprises have consistently met the demands of our armed forces by providing them with state-of-the-art and reliable military equipment. The Coordination Council under the Government of the Russian Federation oversees and ensures the progress of this critical work. Notably, Uralvagonzavod has significantly ramped up its production pace, more than tripling its output in the past year. This has resulted in the delivery of another batch of T-90M “Breakthrough” tanks and upgraded T-72B3M tanks to the Russian military, which are particularly in demand for fulfilling Special Military Operations (SMO) tasks.
“All tasks set forth by the state to equip our army with reliable military technology are being accomplished qualitatively and within the designated timelines by the collective at Uralvagonzavod. The consistently positive assessments received from military personnel involved in special military operations bear testimony to this fact. Today, tanks of the T-72, T-80, and T-90 families continue to be modified based on combat experience and feedback from tank crews involved in special military operations. Over the course of these operations, the designers, engineers, technologists, and workers of the Uralvagonzavod corporation have carried out extensive work to improve their tactical and technical characteristics. These enhancements are vital both for crew protection and for achieving success in battle,” highlighted Alexander Potapov, the CEO of Uralvagonzavod Corporation.
The successful completion of contracts for the major overhaul and deep modernization of T-72B tanks, transforming them into T-72B3M standards, as well as the profound modernization of T-80BV tanks to the level of T-80BVM, and the production of T-90M tanks from scratch, demonstrates not only the efficiency of Uralvagonzavod’s production system but also the dedication and expertise of all the employees within the Uralvagonzavod corporation. The ongoing dedication of Uralvagonzavod and its personnel in the pursuit of excellence in military technology reinforces the nation’s capability to safeguard its borders and maintain a strong national defense. The provision of cutting-edge tanks, fine-tuned to meet the demands of modern warfare, further solidifies Russia’s position as a formidable force in global security.
As the nation continues to invest in the development and modernization of its military equipment, the unwavering commitment of Uralvagonzavod and other defense industry enterprises remains instrumental in ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of the Russian Armed Forces in fulfilling their vital duties to protect the nation and its citizens.
