Bell Training Academy Named Approved Training School for Veteran Pilots

Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced the Bell Training Academy has expanded its flight school offerings that are approved by the Veteran’s Affairs office for reimbursement of pilot training. As a part of the VA’s Education and Training assistance, veterans who meet the GI Bill’s qualifications can apply for course reimbursement and potentially have all or a portion of their training costs covered at Bell’s global premier flight training facility.

Since 1944, the GI Bill has helped qualifying veterans and their family members by providing reimbursement for all or some of the costs for school or training. Bell’s approved courses that are currently available for the Bell 206, Bell 505, Bell 407 and Bell 429 models include, Pilot Initial Transition Course, Pilot Initial Night Vision Goggles (NVG), Pilot Refresher NVG, Flight Instructor NVG, Ground Course NVG, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course, Bell 429 Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course (FFS) at Bell’s Valencia, Spain facility, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course and Initial and Refresher Training Courses.
