Turkish Air Force (Türk Hava Kuvvetleri) F-16 has conducted a successful test of its indigenously-developed HGK-84 LAB laser-guided bomb (LGB), the Turkish Ministry of National Defence (Millî Savunma Bakanlığı) announced on Monday. It also shared a 41-second video of the launch on Twitter. The HGK-84 is a GPS/INS guidance kit that turns existing 2,000-pound (908-kilogram) MK-84 general-purpose bombs and penetrator bombs into air-to-ground smart bombs), developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE.

HGK Mission Planning Suite is stand alone platform for mission planning of both the parent aircraft and weapon.
