IRONDOME is an affordable, effective and innovative defence solution (C-RAM class), designed for quick detection, discrimination and interception of asymmetric threats such as short-range rockets (up to 70km), mortars, and artillery shells, and also serves as a VSHORAD Missile System against traditional #AirDefence targets (aircraft, helicopters, UAVs and PGMs). The system provides the low layer of Israel’s Multi-Layered Air & Missiles Defence umbrella.
