The newest RHM-5M reconnaissance vehicle was adopted by the Russian Airborne Forces. It is equipped with advanced NBC contamination detection systems.Besides the capabilities of remote estimation of the contamination level of various objects and counteraction of high precision weapons targeting systems, the RHM-5M will also be able to quickly detect biological threats. RHM-5M reconnaissance vehicle created on a uniform base chassis of the btr-mdm “rakushka” and “allows to conduct nbc reconnaissance in combat formations airborne”. The new vehicle is designed for NBC reconnaissance in Russian Airborne Forces and is capable of transferring all information on radiological, chemical and non-specified biological situation automatically.
