DCNS announced that it is changing its name to “Naval Group”. This new identity is a natural step in the French naval shipbuilding group’s history, aimed at supporting its ambitions to guarantee its exposure and credibility in international markets. The Naval Group name, which was selected back in February this year, will help the group increase its international footprint: The objective is to reach 50% turnover on the international market (compared to 38% as of today). The priority in the short term is to win an export contract for surface vessels, with discussions currently taking place with the navies of KSA, UAE, Canada, Argentina and India.
