TAG Dynamics has detailed its Velox Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV), a light tactical mobility platform engineered to enhance the rapid deployment, reconnaissance, and long-range patrol capabilities of military and security forces operating across challenging operational environments. Built around a modified Toyota Hilux commercial chassis, the platform combines off-the-shelf mechanical dependability and global sustainment advantages with a rugged, open-architecture space frame. The four-seat vehicle incorporates an integrated reinforced roll-cage and optimized exterior mountings designed to preserve structural integrity while facilitating rapid ingress and egress for tactical squads during high-tempo operations.

Power for the Velox ISV is supplied by a 148 hp diesel engine delivering 400 Nm of torque, enabling high acceleration and tactical power-to-weight efficiency. The lightened space-frame structure allows the platform to achieve top speeds of up to 175 km/h, while its fuel capacity provides an unrefueled operational range exceeding 600 km depending on mission profiles and terrain conditions. Designed to maintain mobility across varied topography, the driveline leverages the proven durability of the Hilux donor system, allowing deployed units to utilize existing commercial supply chains for field maintenance and spare parts support.

With a maximum payload capacity of 1,000 kg, the modular vehicle architecture can be reconfigured to support diverse mission requirements beyond basic squad transport. The platform can accept specialized tactical hardware, communication arrays, and secondary armament integrations, including ring mounts or rotating turret assemblies with an integrated gunner position. The interior layout prioritizes tactical ergonomics and minimal operational friction, placing vehicle controls within intuitive reach of the driver to maintain situational responsiveness during high-stress deployments and rapid maneuvers.

The Velox ISV reflects the broader design and manufacturing portfolio of TAG Dynamics, a defense vehicle manufacturer established in 2009 that specializes in custom commercial-armored and tactical platforms for international military, law enforcement, and government end-users. Operating certified manufacturing facilities with a global customer base spanning more than 60 countries, the company maintains extensive ballistic and blast testing credentials from recognized independent laboratories, having previously secured VPAM Edition 3 VR7 certification on specialized armored light utility platforms.
