American Rheinmetall, in partnership with Rheinmetall Canada, successfully showcased the latest Mission Master Silent Partner-Hotel variant (MMSP-H) during a live customer capability demonstration on 15, July. The event marked the culmination of several years of collaborative development and technical feedback with the United States Marine Corps. During the demonstration, the MMSP-H highlighted its enhanced mobility, increased maximum payload capacity, and modular open architecture designed to support expeditionary operations. Attendees saw firsthand how the MMSP-H successfully performed various functions loaded with maximum mission payload weight. The event also featured the platform’s newest amphibious enhancements, including full compatibility with the Marine Kit, enabling reliable amphibious operations.

The Mission Master Silent Partner-Hotel capability demonstration reinforced American Rheinmetall’s commitment to delivering mature, mission ready autonomous ground systems that meet evolving operational requirements. It represented another important milestone in advancing autonomous logistics and force multiplication capabilities for future expeditionary missions and significantly reducing the physical burden on dismounted forces. The MMSP-H continues to demonstrate how robotic systems can increase operational effectiveness while enhancing force protection in challenging environments.

The Mission Master Silent Partner-Hotel (MMSP-H) is the smallest variant in the Mission Master family. Mission Master is a modular autonomous unmanned ground vehicle (A-UGV) designed and manufactured by Rheinmetall Canada. The UGV can be used for reconnaissance and surveillance operations, mount and dismount forces and increase operational effectiveness. It can be fitted for tactical overwatch, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) detection, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) operations, and communication relay missions. Mission Master A-UGV can be configured in different modules such as Mission Master – cargo, Mission Master – fire support and Mission Master – rescue. All the variants are capable of carrying out different missions.

The MMSP-H uses a fully electric powertrain, a very low 8×8 chassis, and rubberised running gear with reduced acoustic and thermal signatures. It has been shown too with an onboard hybrid/diesel generator allowing it to self-recharge. It is compact at 3m in length, and it has a width of 1.5m and a height of just under 1m, allowing it to be internally carried in a CH-53 or V-22 Osprey, as well as externally sling-loaded. It has a payload capacity 1,000kg on land, and 300kg when swimming. The MMSP is a modular system, and the same chassis can accept various mission modules for different tasks. Its maximum speed is 40km/h on roads and, using a retractable propellor propulsion option and side sponsons, it has a waterborne speed of 8km/h. The MMSP has a range of 54km on a single charge.
