WB GROUP to Showcase Its Latest Innovations at MSPO 2024

The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2024, Poland’s most significant defence industry event, will take place in early September in Kielce. WB GROUP will showcase its latest innovations in an impressive pavilion located in Hall F (combined areas F-36 and F-40). At this year’s MSPO, WB Group will introduce new unmanned systems, and combat solutions for land and air applications, alongside radio communication systems. Additionally, WB GROUP will announce the launch of its new centres of excellence for maritime drone and space technology development. WB GROUP incorporates over twenty high-tech companies focused on developing cutting-edge systems for defence and security applications. Since its inception, the company has maintained a philosophy of delivering proprietary solutions, allowing for full control over production without limitations on export or development restrictions. WB GROUP collaborates closely with various corporations, within the defence industry and beyond, as well as with research institutions and universities. This approach fosters synergy, enabling a mutual enhancement of competencies between science and industry. This year’s MSPO will feature the public debut of the COMP@N-Z software-defined radios, including a vehicle variant, designed to replace older communication systems using existing vehicle amplifiers. These are the latest Polish solutions based on national cryptographic systems.

X-FRONTER individual reconnaissance-attack drone will once again be showcased in Kielce. This compact system, designed to be carried and operated by a single user, can be mounted on a tactical vest. It offers an operational range of several kilometres after a simple hand launch, for which it is ready immediately after removal from its transport pocket. X-FRONTER, designed as a modular system, consists of a central unit with foldable rotors, sensor sets, and interchangeable mission modules. For the first time at MSPO, WB GROUP will publicly present its WARMATE 20 and WARMATE 50 unmanned strike systems, equipped with heavy warheads. These systems complement WB GROUP’s battle-proven loitering munition family, which includes the widely used and praised WARMATE and WARMATE 5. The WARMATE TL-R reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system will also debut in Kielce. This small aerial platform features foldable wings and control surfaces. Using a reusable launcher that doubles as a transport container, it can mounted on top of and operated from within various types of vehicles. WARMATE TL-R is equipped for use on Polish Artillery Reconnaissance Vehicles.

WB GROUP’s pavilion will also feature unmanned maritime and land vehicle projects. A wheel-based robotic platform, for example, will showcase potential battlefield applications, such as loitering munition carriers. The company will also introduce the ZMU-03/05, ZMU-04, and ZMU-07 remote-controlled turret family. The tactical reconnaissance system, EYEQ, which utilizes AI-ISR technology, will also be introduced at this year’s MSPO. EYEQ is designed for real-time detection, identification, and classification of vehicles and military equipment using artificial intelligence, enhancing resource management efficiency and accelerating decision-making processes. The system assesses tactical situations, analyses risks, and recommends the appropriate sequence and weaponry to neutralize selected targets. EYEQ modules can be installed on unmanned aerial systems or vehicles. The EYEQ system will be demonstrated in action, connected to the FLYEYE small unmanned aerial system hovering above the pavilion. Alongside the well-proven mini-class solution, the larger FT-5 tactical unmanned aerial system will also be presented. This UAV is part of the GLADIUS search-and-strike system, which is available in various configurations.
