Finnish defense company Senop is set to introduce its latest innovation, the Advanced Fire Control Device Thermal Imager (AFCD TI), at the upcoming DALO Industry Days 2024. In the event, the company will be showcasing new Senop AFCD TI fire control sight at stand BSA-120. This cutting-edge device is one of the first intelligent sights on the market specifically qualified for the Carl-Gustaf M4 and M3 weapon systems, integrating all performance-critical features into a single, robust casing. Saab has received an order from the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO)for the multi-role, man-portable Carl-Gustaf® M4 weapon, making Denmark the 15th customer for the M4 version. The DALO Industry Days is hosted by the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO). The industry Days is the largest exhibition in Denmark of equipment primarily from the defence industry. This year the event focus on international participation from strategic partners in Europe and overseas.

The AFCD TI offers unparalleled target engagement capabilities day and night, boasting a high first-hit probability due to its integrated uncooled thermal imager, day camera, eyesafe laser rangefinder, inertial measurement unit, and ballistic computer with essential environmental sensors. The device’s digital image fusion enhances target detection, especially during low-light conditions. Additionally, the AFCD TI automatically receives ammunition type information from the weapon system’s electronic interface, enabling rapid calculation of the aiming dot for stationary or moving targets with a single key push. The sight factors in various parameters, including target range, ambient temperature, barometric pressure, terrain and cant angle, propellant temperature, and angular rate, to ensure precision. The user interface is highly customizable, including language options, to meet specific customer needs, making the AFCD TI a versatile and user-friendly solution for modern military operations.
