Tatra Export, representing Tatra Trucks at Eurosatory 2024, used the show for the world premiere of the Tatra Phoenix 10×10 Bridge Carrier. Phoenix 10×10 Bridge Carrier with an armoured cabin and a Leguan mobile bridge superstructure made by the KNDS company, display in the outdoor exhibition. The armoured cabin was developed and manufactured by the Tatra Defence Vehicle company, and it is characterized by one of the highest levels of ballistic and anti-mine protection in the category of logistics vehicles according to NATO standards. The cabin is based on the project of armoured DAF CF Military vehicles built on the Tatra chassis for the Belgian army, on which Tatra Trucks and Tatra Defence Vehicle cooperate with the Dutch company DAF Trucks.

The Leguan bridge system meets the NATO standards of MLC 80 and MLC 100 according to the category of tracked and wheeled vehicles. It was designed and developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), initially for the German Army. The fully automatic electronically controlled Leguan bridge layer can be laid and rolled back on most of the terrains in about five minutes. It consists of a folding bridge deck and a retractable laying system, while the total length of the bridge can be 14 m or 26 m. Laying or folding the bridge elements takes from 4 to 8 minutes, depending on the version and length of the bridge elements. The Leguan bridge layer, installed on LEOPARD 2 chassis, is deployed globally by more than 14 armed forces.

The Tatra 158 Phoenix is a heavy truck made by the Czech company Tatra, produced since 2011, with axle variations of 4×4, 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10. The truck was developed in cooperation with the DAF Trucks company. Phoenix is Tatra’s main general purpose vehicle intended for civilian customers, while model T817 is intended primarily for military users.The new generation of Tatra Phoenix trucks retains the unrivalled concept of a chassis with a central tube and exclusive air suspension on all axles. It features a completely new modern cab with excellent driver ergonomics, safety and comfort, excellent aerodynamics, improved engines optimally matched to optimised transmissions.

For more than a decade, Tatra Phoenix trucks have been indispensable helpers not only in the toughest conditions on our planet, but also offer optimal efficiency and excellent driving stability even on paved roads. The basic chassis configurations offered for the Tatra Phoenix series are 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 (8×6), but special multi-axle versions are available on request. The new Tatra Phoenix uses the DAF XDC cab (Construction series), which was developed regarding maximum safety, durability and comfort, it provides a better view and overview around the truck and is aerodynamically optimized for the lowest possible fuel consumption. The new generation of Tatra Phoenix trucks is equipped with innovative Paccar engines of the MX-11 and MX-13 series, which use the most modern technologies and design elements.
