Software and service company Digia Plc’s cooperation with the Finnish Defence Forces is expanding. The company has been selected as the supplier of the Finnish Defence Forces’ Network Information System (NIS). The total value of the tendered contract, including options, is EUR 12 million, and its duration is seven years. The Finnish Defence Forces has put its Network Information System out to tender and selected Digia Plc as its supplier partner. During 2023-2030, Digia will provide the Finnish Defence Forces with a documentation management system for information networks and related maintenance, support and training services. The agreement also includes an option to purchase a system for networks of different classifications. The system will undergo an information security audit following Katakri 2020 before commissioning.
