Turkish bus and military vehicle manufacturer Otokar showcases at the fair is URAL Armored Personnel Carrier. The URAL platform, a unique product of Otokar’s innovative approach, is designed as a versatile and modular solution to meet the requirements of different users for 4×4 armored or unarmored tactical vehicles in various configurations. With a modular structure and dimensions, the URAL platform can be easily adapted to different missions’ equipment, weapon systems, and configuration requirements. It is still used in various missions in Turkey and abroad. URAL Personnel Carrier is featured with the Open Turret system at 2023 International Defense Exhibition (IDEF).
URAL Armoured Personnel Carrier features a specially designed chassis, proven engine, powertrain and mechanical components. Permanent four-wheel drive, lockable central differential, independent front suspension with torsion bar, and rigid rear axle deliver ultimate off-road capabilities. Off-road tyres with run-flat system and narrow turning radius make URAL ideal for any mission. URAL Armoured Personnel Carrier, with a capacity of up to 9 people in the 5-door configuration, and up to 10 people in the 3-door configuration, carries the driver, commander and armed personnel to their mission in the most challenging conditions while providing comfort.
