The first stage of the “Emergency Area” competition launched at the Mieu Mon training center in Hanoi city. Participating in the competitions are military personnel from 5 countries, including: Belarus, Mali, Laos, Russia and Vietnam (two teams). In the first pair, the Belarus team competes with the Mali team. In the first stage, “Special Obstacle Course”, the two teams have to overcome nine different obstacles, including: (1) Fire fighting; (2) The blocked passage; (3) Special course; (4) Putting on personal protective equipment; (5) Locked door and rescuing victims; (6) Search and collection of metal fragments; (7) Emergency container; (8) Shooting range; and (9) Ring road.
The military competition was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese People’s Army, Colonel-General Nguyen Tan Kyong, who highly appreciated the level of training of the participants in the competition. However, the decisive content that determines the competition is the shooting. Although the event is held in the context of the complex Covid-19 pandemic, conducting the competition while strictly following epidemic prevention rules set by the Organizing Board, the two teams have tried their utmost in the competition, fulfilling it in least time, making the fewest technical errors and ensuring safety.
