A HX45M 10×10 heavy recovery vehicle lifts the mission module off a Boxer CRV. The HX family are a range of purpose-designed tactical military trucks manufactured by Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV). The Boxer is a German-Dutch multirole armoured fighting vehicle designed to accomplish a number of operations through the use of installable mission modules. It is produced by the ARTEC GmbH (armoured vehicle technology) industrial group, and the programme is being managed by OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation). Both vehicles shown are Rheinmetall-owned. The Commonwealth of Australia was not involved in this activity nor did the activity have a bearing on the results of the Land 400 Phase 2 tender evaluation.
