L3Harris recently showcased the ability to integrate its Red Wolf™ launched effects vehicle on its Sky Warden™ aircraft, highlighting both platforms’ modularity and ease of integration for evolving mission requirements including kinetic strike, electronic warfare (EW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). This integration concept underscores the engineering prowess across the company to meet customer demands to defeat adversary threats with adaptable, open standards-based solutions. L3Harris has delivered multiple follow-on aircraft in quick succession to ensure special operations personnel can meet the needs of the National Defense Strategy and the joint force.

Sky Warden, based on the Air Tractor 802, delivers close air support, precision strike and armed ISR while connecting with any joint force network around the world in real time. It offers a small footprint, low cost per flying hour and unmatched flexibility for U.S. and international forces’ current and future missions. L3Harris is converting its OA-1 Sky Warden aircraft into U.S. Special Operations Command’s OA-1K Skyraider II light attack platform. It will have the ability to support special operations forces as well as the Joint Force through close air support, precision strike, and armed intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
L3Harris’ wolf pack can launch from air, ground or maritime platforms utilizing standard interfaces in multi-role capacities. Red Wolf is a multi-domain kinetic vehicle for long-range precision strikes. Like its Green Wolf EW counterpart, it offers extended loiter capability and standoff range engagement. The company have integrated our vehicles with multiple platforms, including third-party aircraft and ground launchers. L3Harris’ rapid integration technique is quick, low-cost and effective. Red Wolf is the only launched effect to have successfully deployed from a U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper.
