John Cockerill Defense is proud to present, at FEINDEF 2025 in Madrid (Spain), its product combining modularity, reliability and high performance: the Cockerill® 3030. At this exhibition, the Cockerill 3030 is integrated into FNSS’s PARS ALPHA 6X6 wheeled armoured combat vehicle. The Cockerill® 3000 Series, of which hundreds of units have been delivered to the Middle East and Asia in recent years. Both Turkish defense manufacturer FNSS and Belgian company John Cockerill Defense offer military off the shelf (MOTS), qualified battle proven, mobile armored vehicles and 30mm manned turrets. FEINDEF 2025 is the opportunity for John Cockerill Defense to present its Cockerill® 3000 Series.

The Cockerill® 3000 Series are modular turrets that can cover all types ofmissions and objectives on wheeled or tracked vehicle and accommodating 30, 40, 90 and 105 mm guns on a single chassis. The Cockerill 3030, manned and equipped with a 30mm gun will be presented here. The modularity of this unique series allows a high degree of commonality in terms of training, maintenance and spare parts, thus optimising maintenance management and system availability, and ultimately the total life cycle cost. This weapon system offers the appropriate solution for the increasing need of light-weight, high mobility and powerful systems for infantry support. It is fitted with a 30mm MK44S Bushmaster canon, which is already qualified and in operation in several armed forces.

The PARS (Turkish for Anatolian leopard) is an amphibious armoured combat vehicle family with 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 versions, produced by FNSS Defence Systems of Turkey. FNSS PARS ALPHA 6X6, is a New Generation Armoured Fighting Vehicle designed to surpass the most challenging tactical and operational requirements. This design approach gives the vehicle the ability to move comfortably even on loose and soft terrain, providing maximum control at high-speed and short braking distances. The vehicle has 6×6 driving characteristics, and all of its axles can be locked when necessary. The central tire inflation system allows the driver to adjust the tire pressure to suit different terrain conditions. The FNSS PARS ALPHA 6X6 combat weight is 25,000 kg and is powered by a diesel engine.

John Cockerill, formerly Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI), is a mechanical engineering group headquartered in Seraing, Belgium. In 2004, the company was renamed Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI),[5] then it changed back to its original name John Cockerill in May 2019. It produces machinery for steel plants, industrial heat recovery equipment and boilers, as well as shunting locomotives and military equipment.The defence sub-division’s primary products are multifunctional, high-effect turrets in the 25-120mm range for light and medium weight armoured vehicles, and supplier of advanced, high-mobility wheeled Arquus military vehicles.
