After two years of intensive development, the GF-AD Wolf 25 has emerged as a formidable force in the world of mobile air defence. Spearheaded by DefTech Slovakia and supported by some of Europe’s top-tier defence innovators—including Rheinmetall, Valhalla Turrets, DatCon, Visioneering GmbH, and ASH SYSTEMS—the Wolf 25 represents a breakthrough in agile, multi-role battlefield protection. The Wolf 25 is engineered to address the full spectrum of modern threats: from small drones and loitering munitions to fast-moving ground vehicles. Its mission flexibility is matched by a suite of advanced technologies and battlefield survivability features, all packaged into a mobile, cost-effective platform. At the heart of its firepower lies the Rheinmetall KBA 25×137mm dual-feed cannon, mounted on the Valhalla turret, and backed by the AMMR radar system—a sensor-fusion setup that gives the vehicle exceptional targeting precision. The platform is built to STANAG Level 4 ballistic protection and includes mine resistance and full NBC air filtration, making it survivable in high-threat environments where heavier IFVs often struggle with mobility or cost.

A major contributor to this leap in capability is ASH SYSTEMS, the developer behind the Wolf 25’s cutting-edge fire control system. This system integrates:
Fire Control Display Unit (FCDU) with automatic target tracking and real-time ballistic computation,
Radar Display Unit offering live AMMR radar data interpretation,
A Battle Management System (BMS) that unites all subsystems for rapid decision-making and seamless crew coordination.

This fire control architecture transforms incoming sensor data into rapid, actionable fire solutions, allowing the Wolf 25 to engage aerial and ground-based threats in real time—even under high operational stress. Live fire trials have validated this integration, confirming the system’s accuracy, speed, and reliability under simulated combat conditions. The result: a mobile AD platform with tactical agility, lethal precision, and real-world readiness. The Wolf 25 is more than just a new vehicle. It is a reflection of evolving operational demands and hard-learned lessons from current frontlines. Designed with agility, survivability, and combat relevance in mind, the platform positions itself as a next-generation response to the hybrid and drone-saturated battlespace of tomorrow. As ASH SYSTEMS notes, the fire control system is not merely a subsystem—it is “the core of how the Wolf 25 sees, thinks, and fights.” This new generation of mobile air defence may well redefine how European forces project force, defend convoys, and protect strategic positions in the years to come.
