Elbit Systems Showcases Cutting-Edge Capabilities at DALO Days 2023

Elbit Systems, an Israel-based international defense electronics company, made a significant mark at the recent DALO Industry Days held at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. Over the course of August 23-24, 2023, the company exhibited an array of mature and innovative solutions that underscore their commitment to advancing modern warfare capabilities. Among the highlights at Stand 4 was Elbit Systems’ impressive showcase of fire support systems currently in service with the Danish Army. Notably, the ATMOS 155mm artillery system, recognized for its combat-proven excellence, took center stage. Boasting an effective range exceeding 40km with standard projectiles and even greater reach with Rocket-Assisted Projectiles (RAP), the ATMOS offers unparalleled rapid deployment and operational efficiency. The event also featured the unveiling of the PULS rocket launcher, a precise and adaptable launching system capable of firing an assortment of rockets and precision-guided missiles spanning distances of 12km up to an impressive 300km. This versatile launcher reduces maintenance and training costs while bolstering combat readiness.

Furthermore, Elbit Systems proudly exhibited their CARDOM 120mm recoiling mortar system, a cutting-edge solution tailored for various armored carriers. The CARDOM system, mounted on the Danish Army’s Mowag Piranha V armored personnel carrier, stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to providing accurate, immediate, and effective fire support in various operational scenarios. The innovation extended to fire support for dismounted forces with the HattoriX system. This next-generation solution focuses on shortening the sensor-to-shooter cycle, significantly enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of fire engagements. The integration of various essential components, from electro-optics to radar, empowers tactical teams with unparalleled precision and situational awareness. The display also included Elbit Systems’ pioneering efforts in Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, with offerings like the Unified Modular Airborne EW Self-protection Suites and the ReDrone high-end Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) solution. These systems underscore the company’s dedication to countering emerging threats in the modern battlespace.
