Elbit Systems’ E-LynX tactical radio systems were integrated into the Brazilian Marine Corps (Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais, CFN) new vehicles. The Brazilian Marines recently received new vehicles including Oshkosh’s JLTV 4X4 Light Armored Wheeled Vehicle (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle), Daimler’s UNIMOG U5000 4X4 light trucks, and Mitsubishi’s TNE ¾ Ton L-200 Triton compact pickup trucks. Elbit Systems’ E-LynX tactical radio systems are known in Brazil as SIC2CFN. In July 2019, Elbit won a contract to supply these radio systems to the Brazilian Marine units, as part of a large deal worth about $40 million to supply various communication systems to the corps.

The E-LynX family of mobile tactical radio solutions is designed to meet the wide-ranging and complex communication needs of the modern battlefield. The E-LynX combat-proven network solutions enable end-users at all echelons to seamlessly interconnect with all network resources using IP-based routing for reliable voice and data sessions at an extended range.Based on powerful, advanced software-defined radio (SDR) technology, the multi-band, multi waveform tactical IP radios offer enhanced capabilities that enable simultaneous data and multiple voice sessions in both wideband and narrowband waveforms on a single RF infrastructure.

The E-LynX™ Mobile SDR family offers scalable capabilities in a flexible network structure along the command chain and across domains, providing a robust, fast, and powerful always connected network for short sensor-to-shooter cycles. Unique multi-band and multi-waveform abilities enable network optimization in different types of terrain, with no single point of failure. The solution provides complete coverage of NATO mobile frequency bands, with simultaneous multiple voice groups sessions, IP data streams and multiple live video streams, including continuous Blue Force Tracking capabilities.

The simple and intuitive user interface, along with modular, flexible, and open architecture abilities, enable future growth with no hardware changes for 3rd party waveforms and national security solutions. The systems easily integrate with sensors, weapon systems, and legacy radios. The E-LynX™ Mobile SDR family is intuitive to operate and rapidly deployed with optimal size, weight and power consumption (SWaP). The E-LynX™ Mobile SDR family was developed based on more than 40 years of experience deploying communication systems in more than 50 countries worldwide, accompanied by extensive R&D and comprehensive Life Cycle Support.
