STV Group presents General Dynamics Flyer 72 Light Strike Vehicle and Oshkosh Defense Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) at the International Defence and Security Technologies (IDET) Exhibition in the Czech Republic. The IDET is an important defence and security technology show in Central Europe with strong international participation of exhibitors and trade visitors. The largest exhibitor is the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. It is designed as a pro-export platform for the Czech defence and security industry. It is held with the support and participation of the most important political and military representatives of the Czech Republic.

The Flyer 72 is in service in the U.S. Special Operations Command as the M1288 GMV 1.1. It was selected in 2013 to replace SOCOM’s fleet of 1,072 Humvee-based Ground Mobility Vehicles. It can be configured for many roles including light strike, personnel rescue and recovery, reconnaissance, and communications. The Flyer was designed to fill a need by special operations forces to have a lightweight, mobile platform that could be transported by air and be configured for a variety of missions. It can be internally transported by V-22 Osprey, CH-53E Super Stallion, CH-47D Chinook, C-130 Hercules, Boeing C-17 Globemaster III and C-5 Galaxy, and be externally transported by UH-60L Black Hawk. The vehicle can operate at high speeds at long ranges, off-road and in various weather conditions.

The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is a U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and Special Operations Command program to partially replace the Humvee fleet[5] with a family of more survivable vehicles having a greater payload. The Oshkosh Defense Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is designed for never-before-achieved speed, power and protected mobility outside the wire. From its patented TAK-4iTM intelligent independent suspension system to scalable levels of protection and complete plug and play C4ISR capability. Outside of the United States, a number of other countries have shown an interest in or have ordered the JLTV. These include Belgium, Brazil, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Slovenia. All have ordered via FMS with the exception of Belgium which is a direct sale. Portugal and the United Kingdom have expressed an interest in acquiring the JLTV.

In addition, the company produces plastic explosives, AK-based assault rifles, and RPG-7 and SPG-9 anti-tank weapons. STV GROUP a.s. is one of the leaders in the area of general repairs of military engineering and the supply of spare parts for both ground and air engineering.
