The Falarick 105 is co-developed with Belgium CMI Defence and the State Kyiv Design Bureau “Luch”. This 105 mm calibre anti tank missile specifically designed to be launched from the Cockerill CV gun, itself a proprietary development by CMI Defence (now John Cockerill). This Gun Launched Anti Tank Guided Missile (GLATGM) ability increases even more the Belgium Cockerill CT-CV Weapon System’s capability to provide modern armed forces with a fully effective response to demanding operational challenges. It delivers immediate, precise and lethal effects against comprehensive set of targets at short and extended ranges, based on a balanced combination of conventional and smart tank munitions, gun-launched missiles and heavy machine guns. These effects are enhanced through a single auto-loaded weapon system that allows the selective loading and firing of multiple ammunition options including gun-launched missiles, from under armour.

With its laser beam guidance system, the Falarick 105 is able to wipe out fixed & moving armoured targets, helicopters and fortifications at a distance of 5 kilometres. Its tandem hollow-charged warhead allows it to destroy targets under 550 mm of armour and behind ERA or their equivalent. Its name refers to the falarica, a heavy javelin used by Iberians. Thanks to its long, thin iron head with a narrow sharp tip, it was an excellent armour-piercing weapon. Round comprising antitank guided missile is intended for firing from the CT-CVTM weapon system gun against stationary and moving modern armoured targets with combined, carried or monolithic armour, including ERA (explosive reactive armour), and also against pinpoint targets like weapon emplacements, a tank in a trench, light-armoured objects and helicopters.

Cockerill CT-CV 105 high-pressure gun with an advanced autoloader able to fire the long-range Falarick 105 gun-launched anti-tank guided missile (GLATGM). The Cockerill CT-CV 105 turret uses NATO 105mm ammunition, special ammunition and the Falarick 105 gun-launched ATGW to deliver highly flexible, precise, organic fire-support to high-mobility forces. Applicable to both tracked and wheeled vehicles, the system offers precise direct and indirect engagement. Due to its limited recoil, high/low angles of firing (-10° to +42°), this fully stabilised system is particularly well suited to the demands of modern operations in urban and difficult terrains including beyond-line-of-sight engagements. Back-up devices are foreseen to allow continued use of the turret in case of loss of electrical power supply.
