The Turkish Company Nurol Makina has already delivered more than 400 Ejder Yalcin 4×4 armoured vehicles. A protototype of the vehicle was showed for the first time in May 2013 during IDEF, the defense exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey. The mass production of the Ejder Yalcin began in May 2014.
EJDER YALÇIN 4×4 Armored Combat Vehicle a unique platform that has high protection and mobility, is developed to meet the operational requirements of military units and security forces in every region including rural and urban areas.
By its unique design and high payload capacity, different payloads can be integrated; therefore EJDER YALÇIN 4×4 can be customized for various applications. With its powerful diesel engine, high torque capability and fully independent suspension system, the vehicle offers superior off-road performance. During the development of EJDER YALÇIN 4×4, in addition to the superior protection features, user’s operational & ergonomic requirements were also considered and an ideal platform was created for the personnel to operate more efficiently and more secure in the field.
NMS, which is designed by Nurol Makina ve San. A.Åž. has V shaped monocoque body and indigenous chassis. Improvements that have been made in drive-train, make the vehicle extremely fast and maneuverable on a variety of conditions. Offering high protection at a lower weight brings unique superiority to the vehicle in combat areas against the most aggressive and asymmetric threats.
The vehicle designed for variety of missions, offers combat troops a range of capabilities ranging from carrying weapons systems to reconnaissance missions. NMS with next generation design and features, is a perfect combination of scalable armor and composite material.
