EMTAN KARMIEL LTD., an Israeli-based manufacturer of small arms, guns, and weapons for military and law enforcement markets launches The MZ-47. The MZ-47 is a 7.62x39mm automatic weapon compatible with the AK47 standard magazine and ammunition. Both lengths feature upper and lower case aluminum 7075 T6 material with 650-850 RPM rate of fire, front and rear flip-up sights, hard chrome-lined bore and rifling with 6 grooves RH and 1 twist in 9.45”, and an optional ambidextrous charging handle. The MZ47 is designed to offer military forces the advantages of a modern weapon that combines the M4 ease of operation and fast target acquisition, combined with the AK 47 firepower. The MZ-47 is available also in a semi-automatic version. EMTAN designed the MZ47 to utilize Standard-Issue magazines, stock ammunition and other equipment used with the AK47. Fighting units can now upgrade to a modern weapon platform without the need for additional expenditure on new magazines, gear or ammunition.
The MZ-47 is available in three barrel lengths – 11.5″; 14.5″ and 16″.
