The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) commissioned the second Type 075 landing helicopter dock (LHD) Guangxi (32) into service on December 2021. The commissioning ceremony of the new 30,000-ton LHD took place at a facility of the Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding company. Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding is a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). It produces civilian and military ships. The Naval warfare journalist Chris Cavas reported that The Type 075 landing helicopter dock (LHD) Guangxi (32) started sea trials on 20 December 2020. The ship is scheduled to enter service very soon.

The LHD will have a displacement of 36,000 tons, a capacity of 30 helicopters, diesel engine with the 9,000 kW 16PC2-6B and four CIWS including two HHQ-10 and two H/PJ-11. The HQ-10 is a short-range surface-to-air missile designed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), currently in service as a point defense missile system aboard PLA Navy warships.
