Ultra Awarded $11 Million Contract to Upgrade Tunisian Command and Control System

Ultra is pleased to announce the U.S. Navy International Program Office has placed an initial order for US $11M for a full suite of Command, Control and Intelligence (C2I) systems to integrate sensors and remote sites and provide a state-of-the-art Common Operational Picture for the Tunisian Armed Forces (TAF). Ultra’s Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI®) and Situational Awareness Management System (SAMS) will be integrated into the Tunisian Armed Forces at various locations including the Joint Operations Command Center (JOCC) and will deliver full spectrum C2I that serves as a real-time bridge between tactical data links, sensors, and intelligence data.

For the last 30+ years the U.S. military has relied on the ADSI during every major crisis. Today, it is used on aircraft carriers and command ships, in tactical and air operations centers, in airspace integration systems and in
joint command centers around the world. ADSI’s family of advanced multi-domain products provide a fused, correlated, real-time picture of the battle space required to execute increasingly complex missions. Multi-domain surveillance with efficient mission planning, rehearsal, execution and verification of mission objectives will enhance TAF’s ability to train and react to these mission objectives. ADSI had been deployed in over 30 countries, 2500 installations and is one of the world’s most trusted C2I solutions.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our trusted partner relationship with the Navy International Program Office being selected to provide the C2I solution for the Tunisian Armed Forces. The ADSI’s flexibility and best of class performance in providing both the Common Tactical and Common Operational Picture through the fusion of sensors, intelligence and tactical data links will provide the TAF reliable and interoperable multi-domain operations across Tunisia,” said Jill Daiber, President of Ultra, Command, Control and Intelligence. “This effort is yet another example of Ultra’s dedication to those on the front lines and our international customers as we ‘Innovate Today for a Safer Tomorrow’.”
