Israeli small arms manufacturer Emtan has launched the new MZ-47, a 7.62x39mm automatic weapon compatible with the AK47 standard magazine and ammunition, available in three barrel lengths – 11.5″ 14.5″ mand 16″. Both lengths feature upper and lower case aluminum 7075 T6 material with 650-850 RPM rate of fire, front and rear flip-up sights, hard chrome-lined bore and rifling with six grooves RH and one twist in 9.45”, and an optional ambidextrous charging handle.
The MZ-47 is manufactured for clients that holds stock of AK-47 ammunition and magazines and are looking for a modern rifle that combines the MZ-4 mobility and target acquisition while keeping the renowned 7.62x39mm powerful ammunition that is more frequently associated with the AK platform . This select fire weapon has a rate of fire of 650-850 RPM. The MZ4-7 is designed to offer military forces the advantages of a modern weapon that combines the M4 ease of operation and fast target acquisition, combined with the AK 47 firepower.
