Mi-17 V-5 series helicopters have won respect and admiration from helicopter operators around the world thanks to their advanced flight capabilities, high level of reliability and adaptability, ability to operate in a wide range of climatic conditions (from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius) and ease of operation and maintenance. The Mi-17V-5 military/transport helicopter is designed to carry personnel, cargo and equipment inside the cargo cabin or on an external sling, drop tactical air assault forces and reconnaissance and sabotage groups, destroy ground targets and carry the wounded. The helicopter is equipped with a modern avionics suite providing round-the-clock employment of the helicopter and weapons. Its armament system includes unguided rockets (up to 80 S-8 80mm unguided aerial rockets), cannons (suspended pods with 23mm cannons and 250 rounds each) and small arms.The helicopter is fitted with a self-defense system against heat seeker missiles, heavily-armored cockpit, vital systems and components, and features enhanced survivability. More than 12,000 Mi-17 helicopters have been produced to date – a record for twin-engine helicopters anywhere in the world. The Mi-35M transport/attack helicopter is designed to provide fire support to ground forces, conduct armed air escort of military columns on the march, airlift paratroopers and evacuate the wounded, carry cargo both inside the cabin and externally. The Mi-35M is designed to engage enemy tanks, other armored and soft-skinned vehicles and manpower on the battlefield and in tactical depth, as well as perform other combat missions, both independently and in conjunction with other ground forces. This helicopter is capable of airlifting eight paratroopers with personal weapons. The transport version can deliver ammunition or other cargo weighing up to 1,500 kg inside the cargo cabin or 2,400 kg on an external sling. The Mi-35M enables the transportation of up to 4 wounded or sick (two sitting cases and two stretcher cases), accompanied by a paramedic. The helicopter is equipped with a powerful onboard weapon system, comprising:

  • a flexible mount with the 23mm GSh-23L (with 450 rounds);
  • up to 80 S-8 80mm unguided rockets;
  • up to 8 Ataka or Shturm anti-tank guided missiles;
  • suspended pods comprising 23mm cannons and 250 rounds each; 1-2 12.7mm Kord machine guns installed in the cargo cabin.

Its armament mix includes up to 12 Ataka- or Vikhr-1-type guided anti-tank missiles, up to 4 Igla air-to-air guided missiles, up to 80 S-8 80mm unguided rockets and a flexible mount with the 30mm 2A42 gun (with 460 rounds). The Ka-226T day/night light multipurpose helicopter is designed to conduct aerial reconnaissance and targeting, patrol, drop small reconnaissance and sabotage groups, transport cargo and passengers, and evacuate the wounded. The baseline helicopter can accommodate a variety of modules with special equipment. The helicopter can be converted into one of the following versions: patrol; search & rescue; medical; transport/freight; passenger; corporate. The Ka-226T’s airborne equipment provides safe flight control both along air routes and in off-the-airway regulated and unregulated airspace, day and night, and in adverse weather conditions. Lighting equipment of the Ka-226T’s cockpit enables the pilot to fly the helicopter at night, including using night vision goggles. The effectiveness of patrol and search missions at night can be enhanced by using TV/thermal imaging equipment. The helicopter can carry various types of special and optional equipment.

The Ansat light multipurpose helicopter is intended to carry personnel, cargo and equipment inside its cargo compartment or on external sling, as well as perform special tasks in the interests of different customers. The helicopter can be used in various versions: search & rescue, medical, training, passenger/cargo, VIP. Ansat’s airborne equipment provides safe flight control both along air routes and in off-the-airway regulated and unregulated airspace. The helicopter can carry various types of optional equipment. The Ansat light multipurpose helicopter is designed to carry personnel (up to 10 people), transport cargo and equipment inside its cargo compartment (up to 1,000 kg) or on external sling (up to 1,300 kg), as well as perform special tasks in the interests of different customers.
The helicopter has a spacious 8.7 m3 passenger/cargo cabin enabling its use in various versions: passenger/cargo, search & rescue, medical, training, VIP. Its powerplant consisting of two PW-207K gas turbine engines provides flight safety and high performance characteristics of the helicopter, including in high-altitude and hot conditions. The maximum takeoff weight of the helicopter is 3,300 kg, practical flight range – at least 500 km, cruising speed – 250 km/h, service ceiling – 5,500 m, hovering ceiling – 3,200 m, flight endurance – at least 3 hours. The blades of its main and tail rotors are made of composite materials. Ansat’s avionics equipment is capable of effectively solving the piloting and navigation problems. Training facilities, including a flight and navigation simulator and a computer-aided training classroom, are offered for flight and maintenance personnel training.
