Swiftships USA 45M Fast Patrol Boat (FPB)

Swiftships’ 45 Meter Fast Patrol Boat (FPB) is an all Steel Hull with Aluminum Super Structure (181.70 LT Half Load, 197.43 LT Full Load) with Top Speed of 40Knots and 1500NM @ 12 knots with a pedigree of 17 copies build in accordance with American Bureau of Shipbuilding (ABS) and High Speed Craft (HSC). The Fast Patrol Boat is built to contain and conquer Fast Attack Craft and Fast Inshore Attack Craft threats. It is built using state-of-the-art, high quality components with a 25-year life cycle. The 45 Meter Fast Patrol Boat is a highly survivable and lethal surface vessel and persistent security threats such as terrorism, piracy, smuggling, illegal immigration and other threats of this nature.

The 45 Meter Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV) is a modern, robust, and efficient FPV with a capability to operate in all major areas around the world with condition(s) up to sea state 6 survival at the best heading and fully operational capability at sea state 4. It is built using state of the art, high quality components with a 25-year life cycle. The hull and superstructure are constructed of all-welded aluminum alloy in accordance with ABS HSNC regulations. The hull includes 7 watertight bulkheads forming 8 watertight compartments. Boats can be refueled at sea using side-by-side procedures and run on #2 diesel fuel.

The Fast Patrol Boat is built to contain and conquer Fast Attack Craft and Fast Inshore Attack Craft threats. The main gun is an Aselsan 30mm SMASH remote-controlled stabilised naval gun system mounting an Mk44 Bushmaster-II canon, which is fitted on the forward bow deck. The weapon station is also equipped with an electro-optic sensor system for automatic target tracking and engagement capability. Its dual-feed automatic cannon has a rate of fire of 200 rounds a minute.

The Fast Patrol Boat (FPB) is powered by Four (4) MTU 16V2000M94 marine diesel engines, driving four Hamilton HT 810 Water jets. The vessel is also fitted with an engine and gearbox control and monitoring system (ADEC). Its shipboard electricity is supplied via two Caterpillar C9 – 200 kW generators and Emergency Generator 50 KW for critical loads. The propulsion system provides a maximum speed of 40k at normal load and a maximum range of 1,800 nautical miles (nmi) at 12k speed.
