The Navistar Defense SOTV is built around an armored safety cab for highly mobile precision engagement with blendability that mimics commercial pickups. Special Operations Tactical Vehicle (SOTV) is a highly-modular, 4×4 transportable, armoured vehicle designed to meet the off-road mission requirements of special operations units. The 4×4 tactical vehicle was developed by a partnership between Navistar Defense, Indigen Armor and SAIC for the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The SOTV can be deployed in combat missions, border patrol, police and other government duties. It can carry large payloads and offers enhanced off-road mobility and high performance in difficult terrain and arctic environmental conditions. The multi-purpose Special Operations Tactical Vehicle features modular design, which is based on Indigen Armor’s Non-Standard Tactical Truck (NSTT) platform. It features Navistar Defense’s 4×4 crew cab truck body style.

Navistar Defense’s SOTV-A is a highly-modular and transportable vehicle that is available the varying levels of armor protection and weapons packages.. Designed for maximum off-road speed and mobility for a variety of terrain, the SOTV incorporates a full government- furnished Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) suite. The chassis, suspension, powertrain and armored occupant safety cell were engineered specifically to carry large payloads across rough landscapes in 3-man, 5-man and 7-man variants. The scalable armor packages meet multiple threat levels and accommodate a variety of low-profile or overt tactical body styles, allowing the vehicle’s profile to be changed at the crew level.
SOTV-B Modular Mobile Transportable
Designed for unconventional war or stability operations, the International® SOTV looks like a commercial truck that can blend into any inhabited environment – but offers military-grade power, performance and protection. The purpose-built SOTV-B features only military grade components throughout the vehicle, including the power-train and off-road suspension. The only thing in common between the SOTV-B and the pickup truck it mimics is their appearance.
The SOTV-B offers scalable armor in a lighter weight, fast, maneuverable design that can be efficiently manufactured and supported for a life cycle of 20 years over a rigorous mission profile. The SOTV-B can incorporate a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) suite. The chassis, suspension, powertrain and armored occupant safety cell were engineered specifically to carry large payloads across rough landscapes in 3-man, 5-man and 7-man variants. The result is a mobility system that blends into any inhabited environment, and that can deliver operators to the most austere locations in the world.
